Coordinates daily clinic activities including patient scheduling and flow, ensuring adequate and appropriate staff coverage and managing employee and provider schedules on a daily basis. The Clinic Coordinator role is in addition to primary clinical function in the practice (i.e. rooming patients; authorizations; triage) according to established standards, practices and healthcare techniques. Under the coordination of the Facilities Manager this position is responsible for ensuring appropriate operations of the utility systems and providing assistance with general maintenance tasks. Utility system operations include steam generation from the boiler system, medical gases, emergency power, and critical heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This position is also responsible for assisting with general maintenance tasks throughout the facility and assisting other Maintenance employees with special projects as assigned.
