Under minimal supervision this position is responsible for the ongoing technical aspects of developing, supporting, and maintaining and the organization’s local and wide area networks. This includes maintaining the operating systems, backup processes, and application software as well as ensuring the security and integrity of devices.
Education:
1) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
1) Five year’s effective experience with Microsoft client/server network system management.
2) Previous experience with Wide Area Networks is required.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
1) Diverse knowledge of relevant office automation applications is required.
2) Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
License/Certification/Registration:
1) A CCNE (Cisco Certified Network Engineer) is strongly preferred.
