Responsible to the Unit Director/Manager for the overall nursing practice of the unit during the shift assigned. In the absence of the Unit Director/Manager, the RN is responsible to the Nursing Supervisor, Charge Nurse or the Nursing House Supervisor of the shift. Provides professional nursing care based on current nursing knowledge through use of the nursing process. This includes the responsibility for assessment of the patient's needs, development of the plan of care to meet those needs, implementation of nursing measures and evaluation of the effectiveness of the nursing care and other treatment measures.

Assists in the delivery of quality healthcare by exercising sound nursing judgment in accordance with recognized healthcare techniques, procedures and established standards and administrative policies. Functions under the direct supervision of the Manager, Cardiology & Pulmonary Services and Nursing Supervisor, Cardiology. Performs all aspects of clinical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. May assist with compilation and reporting of procedural information to benchmarking, regulatory, or accreditation agency(ies), as required. Participates with all team members to provide and achieve optimal patient outcome. Participates in on-call rotation for emergency cardiovascular procedures outside normal operating hours. Will be assigned to the Electrophysiology Suite. Will function as a Charge RN on a day-to-day rotational basis in the Cardiac Catheterization/ Electrophysiology Laboratory. Accepts assignment to Echo-Cardiology and maintains competencies for both departments.

Primary function is to assist the Physical Therapist and the Physical Therapy Assistant in performing various treatment procedures. The Physical Therapy Technician will actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care.
Responsible to the department Manager/Clinical Supervisor for overall nursing practice. In his/her absence is responsible to the Patient/Physician Liaison of the shift. Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse and is responsible to her/him for the care assigned during the work shift.

Responsible for providing on-site support for the reprocessing of flexible endoscopes and related equipment in Endoscopy procedural areas incompliance with manufacturer’s intended for use (IFU) and/or hospital policy. The Scope Reprocessing Aide must contribute to safe, quality, and fiscally responsible cleaning of endoscopes per manufacturer and organizational instructions and adhere to all infection control policies. This position is also responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of inventory, repair schedules, maintenance of supplemental equipment, and provides quality assurance through performance of periodic endoscope testing. This position provides accurate and thorough recordkeeping.
Performs a variety of general office duties to assist the staff. Interviews patients or their representatives in order to obtain information necessary for accurate scheduling, patient identification, medical records, and provision of services and billing of those services. Organizes work to facilitate cost effectiveness and efficiency in the delivery of services. Strives for excellence in correct data entry for information services system. Utilizes communication skills and other behaviors to create an environment of customer service and hospitality. Coordinate scheduling and registration with other departments. May be utilized to cover other Outpatient Clinics as needed.

Provides professional nursing care based on current perioperative nursing knowledge through the use of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses & Associates standards. Care includes the use of the nursing process through assessment of the patient and pertinent health data, analysis of collected data based on perioperative nursing theory and experience, development of a plan of care to meet those needs, implementation of nursing interventions based on current practice standards and evaluation of patient care outcomes for the pediatric through geriatric age population.
