Performs a variety of procedures necessary in the diversified duties of outpatient Physical Therapy from the physicians order and general instruction. The Physical Therapist actively participates as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care in a clinical setting.

Specialized equipment allowing you the ability to provide the best care for your patients:
Education:
1) Graduate of an approved program in Physical Therapy.
Experience:
1) One year of direct patient care in an outpatient setting is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
1) Must be able to perform all duties associated with the position of Physical Therapist in a clinical environment.
2) Good physical condition is necessary to endure stresses of the job.
3) Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
4) Must display professional mannerism and appearance.
5) Demonstrates maturity to function independently, organize work and set priorities appropriately.
6) Ability to effectively deal with emotional and medical needs of patients.
7) Ability to communicate verbally via telephone.
8) Ability to use good judgment and remain calm in high-stress situations.
9) Ability to schedule patients and collaborate with scheduling staff to ensure continuity of care.
10) Ability to read and follow road maps; and ability to use a Global Positioning System (GPS) mapping system.
11) Has access to reliable transportation.
License/Certification/Registration:
1) Must be a licensed Physical Therapist or eligible for licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
a) Possession of or eligible for a PA Direct Access License preferred.
2) Valid Driver’s license.
3) Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
