Serves in an expanded nursing role as part of an interdisciplinary team to promote disease management, care transitions, and care management around focused quality measures.
Education
1) Completion of an accredited registered nurse program required.
Experience
1) Two years’ experience working in a physician group practice preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
1) High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure.
2) Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
3) Conducts business in a professional and cordial manner that upholds the integrity and reputation of Mount Nittany Health System.
License/Certification/Registration
1)Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
2) Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years.
