The strategist is an expert communicator and storyteller with experience in donor-centric communications and community philanthropic activities.
The Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing care and management of the patient with acute and chronic conditions in collaboration with a physician and other members of the healthcare team. Provides clinical expertise to patients and their families, serves as a resource for health care providers, and participates in palliative care program development. Work is performed with general independence and decision-making responsibility in accordance with palliative care clinical guidelines and scope of practice and the patient’s attending physician.
The Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner provides consultation to medical teams, patients and families, as well as nursing, social services, and spiritual care staff. Participates in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of palliative and primary care interventions. (Primary care interventions are applicable to the outpatient setting.) Responsible for providing palliative care clinical instruction to physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and others as requested. Participates in daily clinical rounds, providing patient specific education as it relates to palliative care.
Provides nursing care to the patient by assessment, planning, treatment, and evaluation. Provides safe, knowledgeable, compassionate, educative, individualized, and goal-directed nursing care to all patients and their families. Oversees a safe atmosphere in the operating room to ensure that sterility is maintained for the duration of the surgical procedure.

Will be assigned to the Electrophysiology Suite. Will function as a Charge RN on a day-to-day rotational basis in the Cardiac Catheterization/ Electrophysiology Laboratory. Accepts assignment to Echo-Cardiology and maintains competencies for both departments.

Under the direction of the Director Diagnostic and Ancillary Services, the Supervisor Emergency Medical Services (EMS) assumes shift responsibility in managing the human and material resources of the Emergency Medical Services department in order to provide quality patient care and an environment conducive to staff growth and professional performance. As a member of the leadership team the Supervisor Emergency Medical Services has the responsibility to provide and coordinate patient care for the designated shift of duty and assists the Director Diagnostic and Ancillary Services with administrative responsibilities such as budget preparation, strategic workforce planning, and personnel decisions. This individual remains clinically competent in area of practice. Interprets and enforces policies and procedures, standards of care and standards of practice with others and demonstrates same through own actions.
